Our dog, "Bella," has been trained by J&K Canine Academy, Inc. This program has become world-renown in a short period of time. Academy owner, "Pepe" Peruyero developed his proprietary bedbug scent detection training methods in conjunction with research by and cooperation of the University of Florida. Bella is a beagle, a scent-hound breed. Beagles have been employed by military, police and USDA to search for contraband and illegal substances.

Locating the scent of bedbugs and their viable eggs in a hotel, motel, apartment, nursing home, daycare, or college dorm using a specially-trained dog has been proven to be approximately 98% accurate. In fact, field-studies have proven that a certified bed bug dog can find the odor of even a single live bedbug in a room.
